Hi... most likely Pam 88 will be the one... I called the AD today and he told me that he has no stock. And not sure when he will get one in. I told him that I dont mind to pay all upfront but just get me one as soon as possible....He told me that he was very sorry that even if I pay  all upfront he is still not sure when will he get the 88 in for me!!! And he is the only AD in town. Great guy, great service, too! So I really want him to have my business!!

Arrrrrrr... is this normal? how does it work with Panerai??and how many months ( arrrr )  should I expect the wait ??? 2-4-6-8 months????

I've been told in the past from Panerai AD's that they get their shipment of watches once each month, and that they never know which watches will be in each shipment.  They just open up the boxes and see which ones Panerai sent them.  I don't know if this is still the case though.

If you want to stick with your local AD and keep your business with him, then you'll just have to wait until he gets a PAM88.

Otherwise, if you call other AD's listed on Panerai's website, you shouldn't have too much difficulty finding a new PAM88 laying around somewhere.

You shouldn't have to wait beyond 2 month but that would obviously depend on your geographical location and the dealer's appetite for inventory.  Afterall, the wait and anticipation make half the fun!   Good luck!

in my AD guy is waiting for his 292 more than a year now ;0)

should be 'tongue-in-cheek' sense of 'normal'....

Hopefully Jester is right... "normal" models wait is hoprfully around 2 months...
