Officine Panerai

I'm trying to decide which to go with of some currently for sale and see pro/con of all three.  Is there any special consideration of a G series 005 as compared to the current series?  Also, which seems to be the preference of look on these dials, painted or sandwich?  If painted, do the numbers stay solid over a number of years or does the luminous material starty flaking over time?  Thanks for the advice.

so they should stay solid for quite some time.  Older Panerai's which use tritium instead of superluminova are the models you need to worry about flaking over time.

It seems more people like the sandwich look over the painted look IMO.  But it's good to have both of them should you have multiple Panerai's in your collection.

i would said if u have extra funds, get  both. A 005 or 111  and  a183. Why? , A 005 and 111 is more of a weekend or casual wear and the 183 is more formal-in my own opinion.
