If you had to choose between the two, which & why.

I like both, but to wear daily to me PAM 127 is more practical
Of course the 'lefty' PAM 217 may turn to be more collectible, 'M&M' is so sweat ;-)

but I just like 127 more

If I had a 203 then I would prefer the 217... but since that's usually a grail watch for PAM collectors... a 127 is more within reach. So 127 for me.

The PAM217 looks lobsided to me everytime I see a picture of it.  There's something unbalancing with the "Marina Militare" writing at 12 o'clock whenever I see it.

Hope Panerai will release another 47mm at a lower price range.

Marina Militare wording on the dial is always special...

And I feel more comfortable wearing my watch on my right wrist...

and if I had a 203 (my grail Pam) then that would be it. No need for a 217.

I wear it on my left wrist...forget the, "this is for left handers or this is not for right handers" thing...wear it whichever is comfortable to you...

The watch literally put on a subtle look, imho, and I prefer the clean look on the movement, which is secondary though..

As the crown guard is on the right, it may look 'odd' to some people..but for me, it is simply unique...

But as it is commonly said,,, buy only what you like and not others' likings..make sure the watch 'sings' to you ))...

I'm a right hander. 47mm is too big on my left wrist. 217 will fit perfectly on my right wrist.
