The 384 is almost a killer piece in my mind but I'm just not a Rad guy. If Panerai is listening please issue the 384 in a black ceramic 44mm luminor case, no date, PR on the back and please please please keep the faux patina'd sandwich dial. Regular production SIHH 2012!

in the 44 I would like a good mix of 1950, Luminor and Radiomir

as well as metals/materials

so for a ceramic...is there better value than the 292????

I dont think there is...so its no brainer for me

 

hopefully the 386 will add a brown composite and 1950...

and maybe who knows next year panerai give us a bronze 44 sub????

I think both version are equally beautiful... Normal 292 is a pure design... While 292 with PIG will always be the unique counterpart..

Putting the power reserve on the back of a watch housing a P.200X movement hasn't been done yet, if I recall correctly.  And so, you'll never find a model that way unless Panerai makes some major changes which I think is highly unlikely.

and put the 8 day power reserve on the back. on the website it says the 368 uses the 2002/9 calibre 8 day power reserve shown on the back

and they also did it for the 346 (8 day Ti rad)

I would love to see the 2002/9 dropped in a 44mm black ceramic 1950 luminor with a domed crystal !!

We'll get a whole new line of the same watches but with a cleaner dial.  So anyone who liked a particular P.200X watch but didn't like the fang power reserve on the front, I wouldn't be surprised to see new models which may suit your tastes now!

and own a 270. I think the "fang" works well on the 270 given the "busier" dial with the date etc. But for a hand wound piece without a date I think the PR has to be on the back, otherwise the fang without a date may look unbalanced on the dial.

you see a watch you have no use for (basically) and ask Panerai...in so many words....to produce a completely different one, just so you might like it and buy it. Am I right? I am scratching my head somethin' fierce..

Let me try again... I think the 384 is a very nice watch, in particular the faux patina dial on the black ceramic case is a killer combination. However I prefer the luminor case design and would love to see Panerai issue a 44mm 1950 luminor in black ceramic with a domed crystal and no date.

In the future I will be more thoughtful as it relates to message titles as well as take the time to write a few drafts before posting. Last thing I want to do is leave people scratching their heads
