Officine Panerai

Just got my Pam346 today, one of 500 lucky owners to take it home. Always wanted a 8 days or 10 days Panerai watch but no GMT function, and within my budget. The local boutique has just two & I was lucky to get one without having to wait in the queue. It looks better than any photos on the site, the brushed Titanium case and matching buckle and dark brown leather strap, the dark brown dial blend in perfectly with the gold hands, the watch is beautifully crafted in all respect. Just loved the 8 days power reserve indicator on the back of the P2002/9 movement. When fully wound, one can hear a slight clicking noise indicating the watch is fully winded but won't "hurt" the mechanism within, very smart design. Time moves silently for up to 8 days, but was told it will keep on counting time to 9 days, an amazing watch for my small Panerai collection. BR, Ian

you bought yourself. But for the date (I'm not crazy about Panerais and dates) I would own 2, 346, that's how much I like it.

Thanks to all the compliments. Thanks also to Panerai Boutique for offering me this piece without waiting in long queue. It now sit nicely next to my IWC Portuguese 7 days to see which one is more accurate. Next Panerai - may be a 10 days + GMT or all black PVD/ceramic model. I am sure there will be one or two in the SIHH 2011 models will one day in my collection box.

8 Days Radiomir is such a great watch!
