Ceramic PAM?
I've only started posting recently but have lurked around and have been very thankful of the vast amount of insight this forum has given me... so I figure I'd introduce myself and start a thread with a question I've been meaning to ask.
Been waiting for a ceramic type material for a luminor, not the 1950 case and haven't seen it! Probably because we have a lot of PVD luminor options already...but still! And I wasn't sure if it was only me, but I've always wanted to see one in ceramic that is polished (shiny). I know it's like all the other brands that have them but wouldn't it look nice? For me, a shiny ceramic piece wouldn't look as luxurious IMO
I think a polished look to a black case, whether PVD or ceramic, cheapens the look of the watch IMO because it makes the watch look too blingy. Then again, it's all about personal preference and people have different tastes. Maybe Panerai will release a polished ceramic case in the future. And if they do, I think it would be more suited for a Radiomir case which the Radiomir case is more dressy.

I, too, have asked Panerai about this.
They, of course, had no answer. But I would be interested in a shiny ceramic model as well especially in a larger case size. Black, as is, lowers the "bling" value of any watch. But with a touch of shine, would be perfect. We shall wait and see

Not sure if that would like right on a PAM but if any a Radiomir as the SS models tend to be more dressy - the reason I went for the 292 which looks less dressy..!!
Interesting to see if anything is produces from Panerai.

I didn't know they were around... but that definitely looks nice. stunning... less of the rugged look. would look awesome under the sleeve of a shirt!
Are those ceramic or just DLC'ed cases. My guess would be the latter [nt]
