Officine Panerai

With the skeletonization of the P.2002 movement in the PAM395 Radiomir 8 Day GMT Oro Rosso (see below pics), I really hope Panerai continues in this direction with more skeletonized in-house movements.

Here is a model that I will drool over - a PAM372 w/ a skeletonized P.3000 movement.

Anyone else would go bonkers over this model like me?

so long as they don't go....totally....Hollywood with their models and keep churning out some...traditional/historical ones, though not exactely bonkers, I'm all in favour of open backs.

The fact that the movements to be exposed should be worth...a look...should be kept in mind by Panerai's big wigs, IMO..

A PAM 372 with a skeletonized P.3000 movement will look awesome!!

and I think it may since this would add another dimension and diversification to the P.3000 watches.

Because the 372, as the original watch which inspired the re edition, is a tool watch.

Having a skeleton in the 372 would be a too curious blend of the kind...

Not for me too. A skeletonized movement in a 372 is like 'dressing up' a tool watch. To me the skeleton movement will kill the industrial look of the Luminor, especially at a historically correct size of 47mm.

However, I welcome skeletonized movements in the 44mm contemporary Luminors.

Which should, IMO, stay exclusive to fine and dressy watches.

IMHO, no offence, I think current 372 is the "ugliest" of panerai movement!

practically take up the entire view, so a more skeletonized version would definitely spruce up the look for those who like to look at their watches' booties

Yes, this and a sapphire crystal 372 with skelentoized P3000 will be a favorite in my collection, ever. I hope Panerai will make this one.

Give me destro version of 372 w/ tabacco dial and skeletonized P3000 and I'm DONE!

This would make a lot more sense , as they use sapphire case back...
