Officine Panerai

Just thought I'd share some snaps.  I've owned quite a few Panerai over the years (190, 249, 177, 312, 338, 351, 000).  Most have moved on to better homes, but this one still sings to me. I think I've settled on 44mm as ideal for me.  Here's to hoping that 2013 introduces more in this size! I think I'm getting the itch for something new to pair with my sub!

Thanks for sharing pics of your PAM243.  It's a great 1000m Submersible with a super clean dial.

I do love the way the tritium is looking.  My only worry for this watch is potential difficulty of eventual servicing (being sent far off because of the 1000m, pearl/dial replacement that I don't want, etc).  I guess I'll cross that bridge when it comes.

I have more affection for the real Bomba, the Pam 64. A true beast.

But this one is not bad, and it developped a very nice patina, too!

I couldn't bring myself to pay the 50+% premium in price commanded by the 64. Perhaps one day my passion will out rule my frugality. Until then, I am quite happy. I highly recommend the T dial 243s -- great watch and relative steal price wise compared to its brethren.

The polished bezel A,B,C series submersibles.  I've thought about it more than once. If 2013 doesn't provide any appealing offerings to me, then I may head this route!
