Lovin this strap on my beloved 311.

I don't like it. It does very little to complement...
the colour of the..beautiful..dial of the 311. A darker brown, it would enhance the watch much more..IMO

Wanted a change
I have always had it on a darker strap, but really wanted to lighten it up a bit, which I think the Gold strap accomplishes.
The strap eventually gets darker too
so you'll like the color after several months of wear
I think the strap looks nice though. It just doesn't look that attractive because the photo was taken with flash and the dial looks more grey than in real life IMO.

Will have to take another shot
Anthony is correct. I did not love the photo, so will maybe take another, perhaps comparative shot with different straps. And yeah, I do anticipate a nice darkening of the strap as well.
But I was just at the NYC boutique today and purchased the dark brown Vintage to try on it, but also was shown by the boutique director a very nice, more traditional, smoky brown that matches the brown dial perfectly. So I may grab that one as well.
I have the same strap on the 127...
Among the many OEM straps, I still believe this one it's not the best for the 311. As you know, owners are extremely self-indulgent and "fickled minded" much like women with their hairdo (that would include me, of course). Once they decide to...change...they just do that, and whomever doesn't agree or like the..new..choice, can go take a running jump in the lake
