A pity to put the rubber strap. It is worth a nice calf strap, or a new shark one.

The MN has never been my "cup of tea" but, I have to admit I find the A dials of the 6 and 8 very nice. Congratulations on the purchase and enjoy it thoroughly

Maybe also try a vintage green strap? I think that would look hot on the Mare Nostrum.
