showed me his Pam 599 (Revolution LE) and wanted to see if he could find an appropriate but a bit more dynamic strap for it.

It didn't take us very long to spot what we thought was the perfect combo.

What do you think?

Poor quality pic. but the genuine croc. strap matches perfectly with the indices and black case.

Is it the sweater too or just the coloured crocodile wrist strap that is scary?

That must be the first time that I forgot to look at the Panerai because the strap got my attention...especially with that sweater.

I had something else on which was more suitable for that particular apparel I suppose. It looked great on my friend who was wearing all black.

with a provocative strap. Definitely not for the faint hearted but in the proper context and the right environment, it makes a statement.

While I like this all black watch, the strap is going to need some guts to pull off, and sadly, I don't think I have that ;-)

To put it crudely: if it sucks, it sucks. My friend wanted something edgy for this 'play' watch and he got it. Obviously, it's not mainstream and would not appeal to most. He usually wears boring Pateks and it's his first Panerai, so please give him some slack.

Not my style but I can appreciate the look he's trying to achieve with this strap.

For me personally, I feel Panerai's look better, in general, when the strap and watch don't color coordinate.
