Look at this dial... Where is the consistence? Totally busy, at the contrary of the DNA of the brand, bo balance at all, like if the guys in charge of the development added things here and theren without following a line, an idea... Uninspired.
NOW, Panerai can release watches with complications... BUT they have to create a new line, and use a new case!
Best,
Nicolas
So, why not new concepts? But with a new line of cases.
The inconsistence may kill Panerai.
Finding new ideas won't.... IF consistent.
Best,
Nicolas

3646, 6152 and 6154 were Rolex cases...
Not a rectangular one, but a nice round one, why not? An elegant case which coudl house elegant complications, in an italian way...
Or why not, ala Rolex, elegant, functional, fundamental... But with a smaller and nicely designed case.
They have to keep the Luminor and the Radiomir case, but they have to launch a new and smaller case, which won't be contradictory with new complications.
IMO...
Best,
Nicolas
They are consistent in constantly
forcing everything into 2 type of cases
good or bad time will tell
Cheers

so true...
the the constant struggle between what build the brand up and what will take the brand forward...
its been like this since 2010...the brand is trying to grow but constantly takes two steps back for every one forward...
they release the the awesome 587 MM and then release EOT...
sigh...
If it comes with domed crystal I would be on my wishlist.

It just looks awkward to me, and I think many others feel the same way. That's why you don't see anyone here posting owner pictures of any of the equation of time Panerai's.
And yes, it would be more fitting if Panerai introduced a new case (and possibly even a new dial design) to house more complicated pieces such as an Equation of Time. Bring out something new more along the lines of a more dressy Radiomir case rather than a Luminor case. That way Panerai can expand into the higher complications such as annual and perpetual calendars and give their existing tourbillons & EoT are more suitable case.
Cheers,
Anthony
... but of all complications this one is the last i'm interested in
and at that pricepoint i wonder who will be ??
No seriously this is certainly not the kind of PAM we were waiting for I guess.
