from the press release...
"The new Luminor Base Logo (PAM00634) is made in an edition of only 500 units. It uses the OP I hand-wound mechanical calibre with a power reserve of 56 hours, and it is supplied with a black leather strap with contrasting sewing, easily replaceable thanks to the special system of screwed bars. "
so there are no spring bars for the strap?
nice price for the occasion...snap caseback withstanding...
I will bite...as a tourist...
if you read the online discussions regarding the 634, it is supplied with spring bars (at least the prototype) and snap on caseback (not screwed)...
these two features...along with the integrated new case (bezel with case) has made it controversial..
on the flip side...to expect new releases to be without controversy is not possible...
Is Panerai just releasing the PAM634 just to get the long time supporters of the brand back into Panerai just due to the low ball price?

634 is the only ugly one of all paneristi SEs.
Faux patina totally mismatches with blue logo.
"Two n a half liner" ?? The bottom sripts are too heavy and ruin symmetry of the dial.
Price
is the only mean to promote this …, if designers down.
IMHO.
