Bought last year in NOS condition, this Ω calibre 1120 is a modified ETA movement but keeps perfect time and I love the subtle textured blue dial, which often looks grey in differing light. I dislike the later addition of the Constellation with the large claws. I should prefer the date to match the dial. However I added this to my collection because it was my desired icon of Ω.
"Daily wearer" is a misnomer where we all have several choices to make. My metal bracelet watches are worn least against those with leather straps and I think that will answer your question in that I have enough bracelet watches if they are to have a chance on my wrist. However I love JLC watches and their movements, so you pose a difficult question.

I'm frankly undecided on the movement.
Nothing against ETA movements per se, but I think IWC should have gone in-house for their classic Ingenieur.
For IWC: higher margins; for the customer: less value. I don't like that.
