Dear everyone,
I am in a bit of a dilemma, and have been pondering this for a while.
I currently have a gilt 1675 and a gilt 5513, and am pondering what to add as my third and likely final vintage rolex piece. After some consideration including financial constraints, I have largely decided that it would either be an explorer 6610 or an explorer II 1655.
I've seen a number of pictures of beautiful 6610s as well as 1655s from members here, and my preference largely depends on which nice specimen or photo I happen to come across.
What would you choose if you were in my shoes? Assuming equivalent condition. I am aware that there are variables which will greatly affect desirability for example rail dials, red depths et cetera, but I would likely plump for a nice condition simple "generic" variant for either.
And a couple pictures of my current VR collection to end off the post!
Cheers

.. The 6542/6536/5508 will likely remain grails for more than the foreseeable future!
Agree that the gilt theme would be something pretty cool to follow. Also something that attracts me to the 6610 is the balanced dial and lack of a date, since I hate adjusting the non quickset..
The 1655 though offers spice and variety to what I have, and its look is so unique and decidedly retro, which is very appealing in itself!
My other grails are exactly what they are.. grails..
In another league in terms of affordability and nothing something accessible to me anytime soon..
