Stolen Rolexes

 By: Mizur9999 : October 10th, 2015-13:36
I used to live in Italy for about two years.
I have never left anything valued over two bucks in the vehicle unattended.
Leaving valuable staff in a car in Italy is just asking for trouble.
BTW, about one week ago there was a 1665 DRSD stolen in Toronto hotel in a swimming pool locker.
The guy left his watch in an unattended locker!!!! (a waterproof watch, mind you!!). The serial # was not published though.
Watch your watches guys!!

I think the poor owner has the head under the water enough, with this story.

I will not judge him. Loosing watches is always a big pain.

And I am prettty sure that he was not asking for any kind of trouble.

I feel very sorry for him, and I think we all should.

Best,

Nicolas

I am so sorry if my post sounded the way of me judging that poor collector. It was not my intention at all. Quite to the contrary, I feel very sorry for him, if it has happened to me I would just be devastated. I just could not understand how one could leave such a valuable package in unattended vehicle.
Again, I am sorry if I came across as judgmental.

No problem, Mizur9999. As English is not the native language for many of us, I just wanted to avoid any judgement. [nt]

It would be a good idea, yes.

i apologize, i don't want to bother you with this sad story, but it's the only chance we have to try to find something...although it is very difficult.

I don't want to give more sorrow to the owner, but...

 By: amanico : October 11th, 2015-04:52
On the 22 watches which were stolen to me, I found only two...

But, almost 5 years later, I am still hunting the 20 others...

Best,

Nicolas

Good idea Nicolás +1

These will most likely come back on to the market at a later date and be sold to some unsuspecting soul who may or may never find out about its past.
