Someone "fixed" the new Air-King dial
IMHO this photoshop change makes the Air-King dial design 100% better and more coherent. Maybe in 4 years Rolex will "fix" the Air-King dial in this way, just like they took a few years to fix the hands on the 39 mm Explorer.

And someone pointed out that a similar dial design was used by Rolex in the Bloodhound SSC project.

it would have been an awesome new watch!
Well, yes coherent, but the blend of an Explo dial with a Navigator dial is part of the charm, in my opinion. [nt]

You can see from the Bloodhound instrument panel where they got the idea to use the 3-6-9
but IMHO it should have stayed in a subdial.
I don't know... I quite like it as it is, a bit crazy, out of the beaten paths. But this is only my feeling.
I can easily understand that it " disturbs ".
