This is my first post on this site.
Recently, I visited a vintage watch store, and a vintage Rolex caught my eyes. This Rolex I believe, is a ref 1003, and I checked out the movement. It has a 1560 movement, and appears to be ok. The one part I am really so sure is the blue second hand. I am not so sure if it is right.
So I am asking friends in the forum for help. Can anybody tell if the second hand on this rolex is correct?

Wife's uncle has had this since new, so it can't be "vintage" for him, can it?
Second hand is silver.

That is a very nice watch! I wish I can have one like that. Some vintage watches seem a little tricky to a beginner like me.

I believe this is a pretty old Rolex. Your pics really demonstrate what I am concerning about. The Rolexes around or before the 60s should have second hands shaped like ones in your pics. I guess I will do more research on it this time.
The crown is in very good condition.
Indeed,the dial is very cool together with the blue hand at the first sight. The watch’s overall condition is very good, just have a little doubt about the shape of the second hand.
