Friends, recently I have brought back from the vault,
two little treasures, I truly cherish, which didn't get too much
air-and wristtime lately..
Without further ado, here they are:
My Tudor Prince Little Rose, all Gilt on a black dial , from 50ies,
really a pretty cool Black Timepiece. The gilt writing & of all indices
and also of the Dauphine hands make a really serene, almost a bit mysterious appeal.
Wearing comfort is truly comfy and the smaller size still renders a very
attractive presence..
Then the Rolex Tru Beat, Ref 6556, the Rolex version of a "Dead Second",
in the case of a 34mm Oyster from ~ 1956, with a 1040 movement.
A charming silver dial, with just long indices & the nice contrast
of a red second hand..
Thus, taking them on the wrist revives the pleasure,
suggesting to me to share it here:

Both clean, pure & classic

Although only 34 in DM, both nicely wear larger, due to small bezels

Sometimes, small things really contribute to the overall balanced, often elegant appeal
Thanks for looking in advance &
Have a great week, all !
Best, hs
