GMT MASTER apart, this is one of these vintage Rolex which was very high in my wish list, before prices reached the sky.
A strong charm, a great presence. And a top sensuality.
What more to ask? Specifically Vintage Rolex.

Despote the radical re-shaping of my collection, this 1665 remains very firmly rooted in the collection. It would be my "only" Rolex if it came to it.
I was chatting with Imran......we went to the "if you had to keep only 3 watches" game. For me, 3448J, 5070P and 1665......though if i get the 5131P, that will make life much harder here.

I think that if you had to keep only 3 watches in your collection, you will " save " the 1665 and " sacrifice " one of the 2 Patek you mentioned.
BUT if you decide to let your 1665 MK II go, please... you know who to call...

Last man standing in my collection would be 3448. It is the King.
It gets very very tricky between 5070P, 5131P and 1665....they all offer something quite special and diverse to a final 3.
