I noticed something on the Rolex 1655 Albino and now I cannot sleep.
I did some reading about the Rolex 1655 Albino.I thought they are called albino because the colors are faded. But observing the dial upclose there are no traces of faded colors.
I did some further research on Rolex 1655 with albino dials and noticed that they all fall in the 374 - serial numbers.
My question is did Rolex make Albino dials or not ?

The lume plots show a nice yellow patina as does the arrow GMT hand - I am no expert but I don't believe that is an albino Explorer II you have there
You would expect to see an off-white patina on all lume plots as well as the faded GMT arrow on an albino 1655
