The Everose GMT is a knockout for me. Wish there was a jubilee version for that.

Thanks for the review, my friend. The two watches which intrigue me the most? The new Deep Sea Dweller Blue, and the GMT MASTER Steel Pepsi. Two watches I have to see in the metal. [nt]

You have a solid point regarding the steel Rolex sport models. They are simply following Patek.

It works for Patek, and it seems to be working for Rolex too. Now about the bicolor GMT....you might be right as well. It does look almost perfect.

The downside of vintage:

sometimes age starts showing...

Yes, I agree but just keep loving it ! [nt]

New Rolex Virgin

miranda,

I read your Rolex 2018 summary with anticipation because I knew you are not a rapper fan boy.

I've had a couple of vintage Roly before but never any new modern models.

I also find it incredulous that a manufacturer with production capacity approaching a million units per annum somehow cannot manage logistics to. balance supply and demand.
I used to work in pharmaceutical industry. Can you imagine the stink if we had got our numbers wrong for stocks of Viagra and anthrax antibiotics wrong?
Oops, maybe we did......

Psychologically, I have a problem with bicoloured Rolex models. The impression is like "Can't afford a real gold watch...don't pretend, lah!" Perhaps that is just a South East Asian or HKG response?
Is it OK here in the West?

Regards
MTF

lolz...'cant afford a real gold watch...is everything OK' [nt]

Looking forward to see the new steel GMT in real, but fear my judgement will be the same as when the white gold version was introduced.
The colours kills the watch.

Best
Blomman

Agree on the pink and purple from the pics/videos..plus ceramic fades....have to see it in person [nt]

Let’s be honest this is by far the worst picture you can find lol

I took this picture from FX his Instagram to show you the difference

I mean,,, this looks great and I guess nobody would mind wearing this beauty, right?

LOL!, it actually depends a lot on the light, but definite pink/purple hue [nt]
