This are the big dogs in the Vintage Rolex Submariner world. It was a pleasure to see these in the flesh despite the bad light for pictures.

A few gratuitous shots of my 6205 Submariner
This one has all the indicators of being one of the very first Submariners including the absence of “Submariner “ on the dial due to unresolved legal issues before being released in 1954. My father bought this watch in 1954 for about $100. I need a time machine!
