If they overhauled the current Exp II line..
.. To follow 1655 design cues, I think it would stand toe to toe in desireabiity with the sub and the GMT. Or at the very least trump the current line. I really don't like the font thickness of thebezel markings on the current gen. I would get a refreshed 1655 without a shadow of a doubt. Assuming there was no waitlist. Hahaha!

The Sub and GMT lost their beautiful proportions when they got the super case
Look at the 1655, 1675, and 5513/5512/1680 and compare with the awkward proportioned fatties of today. Even the last generation 16710, 16610, and 16570 had the same perfect proportions as the plastic crystal references.
