My pal lives in SoCal, owns and works restaurant businesses so the watch has taken years of beatings, temperature fluctuations, abuse. It was a gift from his wife and engraved, so likely to be kept forever. Mike
I would probably offer a huge amount of money for this watch, put it on public display and add “after 30 years of hard labor, it still works” or something similar.
It’s the thing I like so much of Rolex: you can abuse it what you like, it will keep working.
