On my off days, I enjoy taking the AK out, and going for desserts.

Desserts give a much needed sugar-rush to the tired mind.

This shot was taken 3 months back, when I swam 1.5 hours daily. Haven’t been exercising for 3 weeks now, and my weight went up 3-5kg. Life became so busy this month.
The weight gain shows on the face and love-handles.
Gotta get back to exercising. It keeps the mind animated and lively.

I have never seen a deepsea james cameron in real life. Nowadays the watches go grey as soon as they hit the ADs.
I’m hoping for better days to get a Rolex again. It always feels good to purchase a Rolex.

They don't come easy to me but if I were to get a second Rolex then Cellini would be top of the list. Already have one Rolex in steel on bracelet and that's enough for me.  Moser would also get my attention in that price category.  

I admit I paid 15% higher to get this on the grey market. It is a small mark-up compared to the other pieces, but deep inside, I don't like the feeling that I'm being manipulated by artificial scarcity. I called the AD to enquire about getting the new Explorer 1 or 2, and they can get it for me within 4 weeks, but they are gonna charge me 50% more for it. And now I am thinking if I really like these pieces in the first place (for the sake of confidentiality I won't reveal the AD. But I bet, this practice is rampant and this is how they treat their VIPs as well). Thing is, Rolex steel pieces are not rare - they are just controlling supply.
There is no artificial scarcity with the cellini range. One can order one any day, and it will arrive in 4 weeks or so. I suspect Moser will reach a point where all their pieces will be "spoken for" at press release, similar to the situation with MB&F and FPJ. But why not look towards De Bethune - I think their pieces are truly spectacular, without that artificial scarcity problem.
I am happy I listened to Nico and got the AK. As you see, it imparts a rakish air to any outfit. One can almost imagine a fighter pilot wearing one.
In my frustration, I shall wear this piece truthful to it's main function - a tool watch. I'm not gonna sell this, so who cares about condition.=D

The same things are going on at dealers everywhere. Maybe not for every customer but it's a worldwide issue. If I were buying a new watch and the dealer who could order the Explorer gave me that as a sales pitch I'd pass. You're correct, it's an artificial game and everyone is a contributor...Rolex, their ADs and the grey market. 

I bet them ladies check you out all the time, especially when you wear this piece. I might get another one, just in case I accidentally break my one and only piece.=) Wish you a great week, my friend. It's great to hear from you.
