I love the " Be Prepared "... Most probably they should have added " To Wait "? I still wonder why they waste their time promoting their watches. It is a total non sense.

A friend of mine, a photo nerd who loves(d) Rolex, is going to give it up soon. Not even a chance to have a look and to try any model. Plenty of alternatives
I still don't understand why people get excited....

Its the same.. just with a mm here there more or less (tadaa new watch),different color dial (tadaa again a new watch), change of color bezel (tadaa... u guessed it ...a new watch)... come on, rolex doesn’t do or has come out with anything new. Its the same formula over n over n over again. But hey thats just my 0.01
The old ones are perfect, that’s why the new ones are the same.
Is it innovative? Not at all, but then that’s what MB&F is here for.
I salute Rolex for having the balls to release the same watch since 50 years and it is still perfect! I know no other brand who does it (with the possible exception of Swatch, but that’s a completely different story).
I would assume Rolex would truly show their balls if they come out with a new model rather than staying status quo. Venturing out to the unknown is having balls ... not doing the same thing. And perfect is in the eyes of the beholder. Yes, thr are some models which are nice, but common, we just accept everything from Rolex coz we are a herd community.
In if staying status quo is acceptable then we should not give other brands a hard time for not coming out with new watches...
If you look how Rolex perfects the movements of their watches over the past 50 years, always focusing on quality, reliability, timekeeping and serviceability, this is not staying at a standstill. They just play a different game than most other brands. This may be completely irrelevant to you, which is fine. There are dozens of other brands who bring out tons of new new all the time.
