Grade 2 titanium is soft as my 4 yo son's foot 
It will mark pretty quick.
Some would argue it will quickly look right as a toolwatch.
So, it looks kind of a newish 14060m in the pictures.
Only time will tell. Maybe the brushed finish will play differently from the classic Pelagos blasted finish.

I hope they offer this with and without date and with your choice of dial and bezel colors (black, blue, green, burgundy). There are relatively few versions of the Pelagos compared to the Black Bay. Iterations of the 39 should be well received.

That's what I am thinking for some years, indeed. But year after yes, nothing. If it has to come, it will happen in the next two or three years, I guess.

I wonder if Rolex might make something in titanium soon. In any case, I’m terribly impressed with the choice of metal here, and the strap options — what more can one ask for in a sports watch? Light weight, no date on the dial, red Pelagos text and a nice enough movement with a great price tag. This is the best alternative to a Rolex no date sub in my humble opinion.

I think they have done a great job with this one and I like the size too.
It will be very successful and I won’t have a chance to get one with my dealer as his waiting lists are full 😒
By the way, this is not a Submariner Killer….two different segments.
