Which submariner (date) model will have similar “feeling” bracelet to my 6265
I love how lightweight my 6265 bracelet is. The modern Rolex bracelets I have (116610 super case bracelet, 16520 Daytona) are just so heavy.
Will the 16610 bracelet feel like the 6265? Or do I have to go with a 16800 or earlier? Or maybe earlier 16610 models (with exposed lug holes?) will do the trick?

"flimsy" Rolex bracelets
To get the light feel of the bracelets, you want to consider the older ones called "folded". Rolex stopped making them in 1980...
Following that, the 2nd best is anything pre SEL (solid end link), that is anything before circa 2000 .
I would also consider Explorer 2 and GMT bracelets. they are the same with shorter clasp, wears better.
bracelet models to fit the above includes: 9315, 9316, 7836,
78360, 93150, 93160,
Last, almost anything pre ceramic (6 numbers reference) is a mix and match. Older models' bracelet (20mm) will fit newer watches watches. for example :1985 bracelet will fit 2003 submariner as the bracelet end link is what's important.

1.) buy a 16610 (or 16800) from the late 1980s/1990s and and have an SEL bracelet come with it.
1.a.) Have the option to put GMT/explorer2 bracelets you mentioned on it. (Though not sure the difference between each?)
2.) buy a 1680 and it’ll come with a “folded” bracelet
3.) buy 16610 even from 2009 (pre ceramic) and swap bracelets for one you mentioned

The 16800, 168000 and 16610 all using the same bracelet. Either 93150 with 501B end ling or with SEL end link and it is numbered 93250.
The same 93150 bracelet can also fit the no date Plexi 5513 sub and all we change is the end links to be 580.
Now the EXPLORER II is also using the endlink 501B, so bracelet 78360 (from EXP ) will also fit the SUB

This isn’t even fold over (I don’t think)? Is this just “SEL”? And with the GMT style clasp you spoke of

My 116520 feels really heavy (compared to my 6263 or 16800). Is there another bracelet that fits the 116520 which would be lighter in weight?

Are designed to be strong and sturdy. We all applauded when the solid new bracelets with their excellent clasps arrived.
So you should either look elsewhere, like a dress watch. Or you go for leather, rubber (e.g. RubberB) or aftermarket steel straps (e.g. Forstner Bands).
Alternatively you fit one of those old flimsy folded Oyster bracelets to your modern Rolex.
