Saturday is when I seek some therapy
God this work stress is killing me. Need to unwind. Decided to take the plunge. Did my usual late AM workout, a late lunch and off to town to pick up an SD. When this was first released I was offered one at the AD. At the time nobody wanted it and I was deeply emerged in the vintage Rolex segment. So I didn’t really have the funds nor the appetite to buy one, even though I knew it was something of pretty good value.
Today I realized that dream. Read all the reviews, did all the analyzing in my head. Yeah, I guess I want a serious dive watch and the ref. 116600 fits the bill. As far as modern stainless steel dive watches go, I think this and the 126610LV are the pieces I’d love to have.
