16030 but with a white and gold indices!!
I discovered after I got it that there is no 16030 with gold hands and indices. It could be a dial swap or sthg ...what do you think, should I keep this or not. The movemet, case and bracelet are correct.
It is a handsome watch especially the last picture.
The question is did you just buy it and you feel the seller misrepresented the watch. Or is this a watch you have had for years to discover the dial may not be original to the watch but is authemtic.
I just bought it from a local shop and maybe they don't know about the dial swap! How can I be sure if it was swamped or originally like that?!
The watch is handsome looking. It is probably close to 40 years old.
It was the next model after the 1603 non quickset. It probably had several dial options. Searching on the web you can find similar looking versions but from pictures not always easy to confirm. The image below is similar but I am not an expert in this model but the font on yours is more convincing.
If you like the watch paid a reasonable price enjoy it. This is not some extremely rare unicorn variant that has a high price that a mistake is very costly.
