Have you considered a 114270?  A little less chunky and sporty, but arguably more refined and trimmer.

Yes I have. .5 mm thinner and 20 mm lug width instead of 19 mm if I’m not mistaken. Personally , I just can’t get by the hollow end links and “tinny” feeling bracelet so many have described on Rolex sports models of past. I have great appreciation for the bracelet on the current version . Thanks 

At 36mm with much in common, the 114270 and 124270 do feel and look different. I have the 11x and love it -- very comfortable, good looking, and easy to wear all day.

The thickness makes it sporty enough to wear it with short sleaves in the summer during day and due to the tasteful dial you can wear it in the evening to a tuxedo.
