So yesterday after my boys baseball game I went to return a friends watch at his watch dealer for him. I had the whole day and had the kids so I said why not? Walked in and in the case was a minty Superman. I was offered the meteorite back in 2020 from my AD but I reluctantly passed because of all the uncertainty with COVID. With the recent discontinuation of the Pepsi I felt like it’s now or never because I don’t expect these to go down any further and only up from here. So I pulled the trigger on another piece that’s been haunting me for the last 6 years.

It’s certainly a looker with some substance!

I bought all 3 of the Pepsi references, SS black dial, white gold blue dial and white gold meteorite. The only other one that I wish to acquire is the white gold with black dial. The market is a funny market. These meteorite gmts are going for around list price or less in the grey market which is ridiculous. I share your view. However I bought them because I love the Pepsi GMT.

I have not seen that everything I have seen has been over list. Where are you seeing these?

Slightly under or over depending on condition etc. Anyway why does it matter? Buy what you like !

Even when I was offered it back in 2020 preowned was selling slightly over list. Just wondering where you were seeing this as I might be overpaying for things I can get a better price at. It’s not bad to not want be wasteful and overpay. I buy what I like but I’m also not a glutton for pain.

My favorite is the blue dial WG and the Root Beer.

I bought the rootbeer and blue dial because I learned my lesson from passing on the meteorite but down deep I always wanted and regretted not buying the Superman.

The metiorite is stunning. I remember telling my AD I wanted a Daytona metiorite. Like 4 years ago🤣🤣 

I think if I had seen it in person when my AD offered it to me, I wouldn’t have been able to pass it up.
