My first post here. I needed another forum fix each day
These are the special ones with family memories.
I have a few tool watches as well but I cherish these more than all of them.
My father's Athlete 4127 (1942)
My uncle's Oyster Perpetual Chronometre 3133 (1939)
My Oyster Perpetual Date 1500 (1965)
A wedding gift from my mother 1942 purchased at a AD in Los Angeles CA fitted with a palladium bracelet.
Side view shows the unique case design of the Athlete.
Excerpt for service correspondence Mr R. Arnet 1980 Geneva
very valuable wedding gift! Love the case and engraving on winding crown.
Thanks for sharing.
that 3133 is simply gorgeous, and the Athlete is another example of a very early model with mercedes hands.
Hi,
Love the watches......
Love the idea more that the watches are inherit to the next generation!!
Congrats!
