Hi All,

Thinking of looking for a nice Tudor Tiger Prince Chronograph to add to my collection. What is the prevailing wisdom on these watches ? are they a good first step to owning a real Daytona ? Do they hold there own per say. Thanks for any input.

To directly get a Daytona...

Let's see..

You have in mind the Dayto, but you buy the Chrono Tudor...

You're very happy for: One Day

                                     : 2 Days

                                     : One month?

 

But you still heve this bloody Dayto in mind...So, now you begin to think to re sell your Tudor Chrono to go the a Dayto..

Problem: It won't be that easy to re sell you Tudor at the same price you bought it.

Result:

You lost money, only because you differed the decision to go on the one which sings very loud to your ears...The Dayto.

Well, these are just my 0, 000000000000000000000000000002 Cents...Which are pretty strong, nowadays..LOL

When your right , your right ! there is no substitute for the best. What will my wife say to a Daytona ? Perhaps I should refer to my moto : " It's always easier to ask for forgiveness than permission "

Thats a great picture ! I have come to the conclusion that perhaps I should wait a little longer and get the real deal. Interesting to read about the preferences people have to the white or black dial. I have a friend to has a white dial Daytona and he is thinking of selling as he prefers his Gold President. If I play my cards right ...........

There's no substitute for a Daytona or a Ferrari for that matter.Taking small steps to achieve the end result will be more painful and eventually be more costly.

Wish I could be as humorous as Nicolas in the way of putting it.

My late grandfather instilled the following quote and its meaning in my father when he was very young, and it was passed down to me....

"we are too poor to buy things twice"

if you want the Daytona buy the Daytona or save up to buy the Daytona. 

Since a Ferrari was pictured, I should be allowed to bring up another high end car manufacture's moto.  Porsche.  THERE IS NO SUBSTITUTE.
