Hiiii,...all I am not happy with my local AD went there for minor adjustment on my GMT ll-C that I bought 2 month ago was running slow after the adjustment I told him that there is a minor scratch at the last/end link where u open the claps. I noticed it when I got the GMT ll-C went back home and took out all the plastic protective thingy. So he polish the end link and also the claps. I thought it was ok. When I borded the plane to my dismay the scratch is still there and more scratch now on the braclate. I noticed tht he was quite rough with my other watches too but did not charge me for adjusting all my other watches. I think I am going to the ROLEX center to have it looked again as he did not understand my other complain. The guy is nice but he did not looked at it again after he had polished it lack of QC.
I Had a chance to handle the Deep Sea It looks so big like a toy, the bracelate is so tiny for the watch that huge. I am disappointed. Hopefully ppl at Rolex are listening to all the hue and cry on the bracelate. PLEASE RECIFY IT.................. SO DISAPPOINTED....I'd rather get a Daytona or the old seadweller. Hopefully they will anounce something good during the Basel for the buyers of the Deep Sea. Release the new submariner SS at the soonest to cover up the Deep Sea blunder. Sorry for being blunt but I was about the purchase the Deep Sea. Don't blast me for those who had bought the Deep Sea...................I love my GMT Master ll-C but the bracelate is a scratch magnet.

It is a story without end, my friend...
You polish the bracelet, and as a scratch magnet it is, the scratches will come back soo, so what?
You will give ir another time for a new polish?
And so on.
Your watch will spend most of its time to the " Polish Man "...LOL
Seriously, live with these scratches, or, if you can't, remove the bracelet for a Nato Strap, or a Leather strap...It's cool, too, and you won't have anymore problems with scratches!
As for the Deep Sea, cool watch, give it a 2d chance, my friend.
I saw it recently in the flesh, and yes, I like it, can't say that I love it, but I like it.
Best.

I should have not do anything to my GMT Master ll-C but I was do disappointed when I first go the watch and peel off all the protective plastic only to find out a scratch on a newly purchased watch. I should have inspected the watch closely next time.........

Your bracelet will look worse before it gets better, over time the bracelet will develope a nice swirled look on the polished center links that will not be as noticeable...since its a new watch, you notice everything! Enjoy the GMT!
