Rolex

I have had my Milgauss for 3 weeks and have worn it mainly as a dress watch and not during any scratch attracting activities. I have noticed that swirl like scratch marks have appeared on the shiny bezel at the 8 o clock position but not on the adjacent side of the case. I  would appreciated hearing from any Milgauss or Date Just owners, which has the same type of  shiny Bezel, as to whether or not they have experienced this same type of problem before I go back to my AD with this issue.

Sad truth is that ALL Rolexes stratch. A helluva lot too. I own a Milgauss and Daytona and both stratch a lot.

It gives it more character is one way of looking at it. And at the 5 year interval, it'll get nicely buffed at the service.

I kind of agree but my Milgauss scratched a lot more than my Submariner that is 18 years old and looks new.

If you wear cuff links that will do the trick and is how I did the damage (so to say) to my watch.

Can bear with it and does give it a rugged look.

Rolexes do polish up easily.

I also developed numerous hairline scratches at the "9 position".  Then, I realized it was simply the action of shirt cuff that was wearing away at the metal.  This took place over the first few weeks and honestly, I was very surprised.  Between you and me and the rest of the world, I think this is a design flaw and I'm not very happy about it.  Perhaps this is why Rolex is now using ceramic as bezel material on several of its watches, including the new Daytona.

funny you should say that i have a mill 2009 m series rasta and a similar sort of mark appeared at between 8-9 oclock only on the outer silver bez a watch dealer said he could prob get it polished out for me but not sure i want to have that sort of work done on such a new  watch, i thought it was prob some sort of scratch i had caused but in reality i wear a sub most days and the mill on weekends etc i would be intrested to hear if you go back to your ad what the outcome is
