Rolex

It seems that There is, for me, a malediction on this watch...

This is the 4th I saw in less than 6 months, and it is still not the good one.

A 1655 first generation, with its straight second hand, with a nice dial, but with some tritium indexes missing.

Damn!











Here is the problem...

See the triangular index at 12...

The tritium has partially gone, but in an important proportion...



But the good thing is that I'm more and more convinced by this Vintage Explorer, by its wonderful and strong dial, by its charm, with this big case, and this special bezel.

I just need to find one more patined with less white indexes.

The hunt goes on...

Isn't it a wonderful Rolex?

Yes Nico it's a perfect vintage rolex; it have something more/different than the stay of the production.

Naturely the Orange Hand, but the dial is very particular too. The bezel is a must.

But the better period in a watch buy isn't the Hunt??

Hi Nicolas, This is my watch.  I paid an extreme amount for it 2 years ago.  It came with double papers (not sure how u call this).  Will  find some time to take more picts.
