Rolex

... as my yachmaster II had been in servicing for too long ( chrono issues, crown not working anymore...), i couldn't resist when i saw a new one, with all the plastics on it, and the bezel protector. It was shining in such a way. I was going to buy something else completly different. But this rolex feels so special, undestructible and refined in the same time. The dial is amazing, everything single detail in it feels perfect., and that blue bezel THE Rolex IMO... Plus it fits so well on my wrist.
As i didn't wear it since the end of last summer, i really really missed it.

So here i am facing a dilemma, Should i take it or wait for mine?
I checked that the chrono was working perfectly, as mine had a problem ( wasn't resetting precisely ), and started the negotiation to trade mine for a new one. As i knew i was going to keep this watch for a long time, it made sense to prefer a new one to mine that had a defectuous chrono ( Rolex innovated in this chrono, so they might need fine tuning )
No hesitation ( even with the exchange rate bleeding me everytime) It was a very quick deal, took like 30sec chrono, and here i am, with my 2nd new yachtmaster... Feels almost like when i got it the 1st time... almost What a watch, definetly a keeper for a long long time.

Passion drives us to do inexplicable moves, but it procures feelings and sensations that only it can generate.  I say well done! Even if you paid twice, even if it was not the thing to do according to others, I say all that matters is that you have in this occasion wear what you want and it is priceless.

I have tried this gorgeous piece twice and I like it a lot.  I am not yet ready for it, but I would not argue about its build quality and functionality, it is as you say perfect and so innovating for a Rolex.

... actually, none of my close entourage But u have put it well. Actually, its over here on PuristsPro that i find ppl that can understand it as we all share passion for watches.
As u have tried it on, u can see what i mean when i speak about a feeling of indestructable and well build. A sense of power on ur wrist... An adrenaline rush And as they say, adrenaline is the most addictive drug

For months I can not wear a Rolex, but each time I wear one, I feel exactly the same, a big pleasure!

Each time I add a rolex in my collection, this is the same stunning feeling of satisfaction, pleasure.

So I can understand what you feel with this one.
