For years, watch enthusiasts have been buying Bond NATO nylon straps that bear very little resemblance to the strap used in the film. Now, with Blue Ray and HD televisions, we finally know the real pattern used in the watch strap worn by Commander Bond.

It was in the air for some time but glad it has landed ! Ordered a couple already, and yes, included is the smallest 18mm !

I am still not 100% convinced of the colours of either this or the usual "Bond" NATOs. In any case, the strap colours don't represent anything (such as Naval branch) so in the end, you're watch band that Bond (or more accurately, the owner of that Rolex) found at some shop.

Still, I admire Jim's efforts to bring forth this product. It takes a special kind of enthusiasm and dedication.

Have not heard anything about where the strap came from. I had always assumed it was for a smaller military issue watch, since given the reasonable attention to detail that took place for that film, I can't imagine that this was not military/professional issue of some sort.
