Old Rolex
I have this gold Rolex my father left me..It is a regular wind with Chronometer on the dial. The dial and hands are original as is the crown. The strap is not original. The watch runs just fine. The case and crystal do have some fine scratches due to wear. The watch was purchased new . I think maybe in the 1950's. Does anyone know the model # or the appox value of this watch. I am attaching two photos of this watch. Thank you

...you can open the case to read the reference inside the caseback.
I have seen this model before but cannot recall the ref number
Some were recased in France to avoid taxes and duties and may not have a reference number
