Hi,
are you sure it is a 7922? looks like a 7924 to me, big crown, brevet, 200m dial!?
the 7922 is a small crown, 100m!...
The experts will confirm, Jeff? Nico?...
in that case, that's even more good news for you in terms of value, fantastic watch to get!
the ref number should be written in the case back and between the lugs.

I have tried to gather some informations here a while ago
will study this WE. Thanks very much, looks like great info and beautiful pictures!

As we are not allowed to post links on commercial websites.
I know Jerome, he's a friend of mine, and yes he does a great job.
Of course you're allowed to say how happy you are, which doesn't surprise me, coming from him.
You have a fantastic watch, which I wouldn't put on a bracelet, to save the case numbers, and to enhance its military look.
If you live in Paris, we'll certainly meet, one of these days, and it will be a pleasure to see your watch in the real.
Can you share with us your case number and the year / quartal engraved in the case back?
Do you have more pics to share, about the case back ( inside / outside ) and movement?
I'lm a big fan of these lovely monsters.
Congratulations, and welcome here!
Nicolas.

I will keep you updated when a GTG comes at the horizon. No worries.
Best.
And thanks for the pictures.
Nicolas.
A few are spotting, from time to time... Getting an authentic one is a possible target. Not as expensive as a Rolex BC, but not less desirable.
I know where some are hiding...
Best,
Nicolas.
if my grandfather passed it on to me Nicolas.
Or any watch that has been passed down from family members and has been given to me with love. I will be its faithfull guardian to be passed along to the next family member when the time comes.
The thing with pre-owned/vintage in the market place is that unless I know its full history I'm not comfortable with not knowing where it came from or who owned it previously or if it was stolen. Could have come from Jack the Ripper ! But Count Dracula is fine with me.

Well, a watch from Jack the Ripper, that may be cool!
Best,
Nicolas.
Knowing where those lovely and dangerous creatures hide!
Well, I say dangerous because tudor 7922 and 7924 are infested with THE VIRUS.
It's like rabies, I'm already salivating, he he.
Amigo mío, cuando tenga los fondos, promete que conpartirás ese conocimiento sagrado
Abrazos.

The 7924 is one of my top 3 Vintage Rolex, with the Pussy Galore and the Explo I 6610, in my current collection.
Would love to add a 7922. In fact, I targeted a very nice one, but dealing with its owner is another story.
Highly addictive watches, for sure.
All the best, Amigo mio.
Nicolas.
Jerome in paris is a real expert concerning these watches, I knew he would be able to help.
Concerning the Tudor BC's...well...I love them ;-)
How many are still in your collection?
Best,
Nicolas.
