After 6 months absence from the wrist..
Just sharing this rustic looking pic i took over the weekend using Lomo apps 
I was also dreaming of owning a nice vintage Explorer after looking at Nico's, Edward's and Abel's, just give me a 1016, i'd be very happy and jumping with joy. So i took this modern looking one to get some wrist time..

not by choice cos usually one or two pieces with me while the rest
in the bank. I know i know, i shud'nt have. I took out the Breitling to wear too cos this one even longer not on the wrist :O As due to age and reading too much of this forum at night 
eyesight getting far sighted and the other day, i took off my glasses and have a closer look and managed to see the Explo quite well worn with many scars and a few dings, painful.

But keep it, it is a lovely modern Explo you can use and abuse!

I'd love to, Nico. Over here the vintage market if you asked me is kind of non-existent,
and i have doubts with what i see. You should come visit and i bring you around to help me "sherlock holmes" this so called vintage that i can hardly find here..

do in Paris. Lovely. I cannot travel far now cos I have to manage my young daughter coming to 2 yrs of age now and we are expecting our second child in September. Nevertheless I have told my wife I will take her there when I am 40. I will definitely look up for you when I am there. U have my word. Gracias.

Abel, it is always a joy to wear the Explorer, light, small, all tucked in nicely
on the wrist, and to the laymen, this is such an ordinary Rolex watch, but to us, it means more than just an Oyster Perpetual. And is looks so subtle and simple. Thats what we like about it.
