Some Explorer banknotes shots.

Here is what I found from a recent series of " banknotes shots " I took.

Two watches which are dear to my heart. Not the most popular, but certainly not the less appealing!

6610 and 1655 side by side, and taken separately.

These Explorers are just unbelievable. There is a life outside the Subs, Daytos and GMTs... There are the Explorers, also!

... well, you know, you "converted" me to the Freccione, which has been for a record of four weeks on my wrist, and about the little Explorer... well, ... I need a "revancha" after my honeycomb fracass!

Two great timepieces... so classic... so charming! And the photography... just stunning.

There might be life outside of the Subs,  Daytos and GMTs but I afraid that might be no life left for the rolex collector.

I am not sure the purpose is to buy all... But to buy what you like, the, which is complementary or important.

It may lead you very far, indeed, hence the necessity to find your own limits.

The 6610 is a classic, while the 1655 is so special!

....so much attention goes to the glamour models...the Subs and Daytos. I think of it like a football team.....

The Daytona is the equivalent of Thierry Henry.....

The Submariner is a little bit like the Zidane mode

The Explorer is a Dessailly or Vieira

I find myself wearing my explorers more and more. Even the modern reference I purchased a year or two ago is one I love to wear, The Freak is one I have the hardest trouble with for many reasons...not least because its so ugly. But it is individual in its ugliness...and so different. Well, for me I have now completed my explorer theme....and yes I was badly Vlad'd on this theme. Though, to be fair, i think I did play a small part in that 6610 of Vlad.....

Much more than a nice watch... A Friendship watch.

I like to think that your unbelievable Red 6610 and mine are sisters, more than in one way.

Honesty, the Explorer Family ended with the 16 570...

The only question I didn't answer, yet, is to know which with one to start...

Seems that a 6350 is an evident answer, but a Pre Explo is something I also have in mind.

Hmmmm... Some nice discussions in perspective!
