Hello purist. My journey with vintage Rolex has been fast and furious to say the least. The last 10 months i have transformed my collection completely. From mordern contemporary to vintage ......The journey has Now taken me to this , my 1st ever sub. ( i never own a mordern rolex in my life, i used to hate anything and everything about rolex mordern or vintage). Hope you will enjoy my 1961 5512 .

I never thought i would get a sub . But this one is special so its a no brainer.
The GMT belongs to a fellow collector. I think he wont part w it even if u put a gun on his head. Its a real beauty that one.

Like you said " i used to hate anything and everything about rolex mordern or vintage" except replace the "used to" with "currently" and you have my state. Maybe I will come around over time. Great to see collectors like you come around over time and evolve and I am sure my tastes will evolve as well. That said, the family shot looks fantastic!

But i think i hv enough for now. I am reaching the end of my journey. Another one or two pcs and i am done.
GMT is not in athe plan. Some how i am never in love with it.

Collection! I think a GMT maybe like Nicolas' 6542 is next? Or something like Baron's 1665 PP (one of the best I've seen)? Those 2 watches will be an awesome addition to your collection.
