.. It has taken me about 2 yrs to find " My Explorer" ( 6610), also thanks to kindness,
and a friendly hint from here, and a special friend ( you know well ! ).
This only happened few weeks ago, and I consider myself lucky and happy
at the same time, to have found found such a fine specimen, I am totally in love with !

Today, I just wanted to use the post to send a big hello to the new 6610 on the forum....HS111. Along with Nicolas and myself, H has now joined the small (but growing) club of 6610 owners. So, my first roll-call is to H and Nicolas to post their 6610s.
But I also want to see ALL Explorers in all their various guises...1016s, 16550s, 1655s, 6610s.... whatever and however they come....Explorer time.

its my theory that vintage Rolex collectors accumulate Explorers without really realising it.

Ahhh! Yes! Now I remember on which wrist I have seen this one...
... I was surprised to see a 1016 with the chapter ring, as I wrongly supposed that this was a feature of previous references only. I can understand his owner reluctance to sell! Such a beauty!!
