I love the details. 

I have seen sigma dials  (not the example you have shared) where the text is white and some have silver.  It was a distinction with the sigma as both are correct.

What color is the text - I almost want to guess silver but it is close.  The cool thing is that regardless of the color the text pops.

The Silver has turned bluish by the time it reached my hands. I think I ever heard some rolex collector calling it the blue daytona. Cheers!

Thanks for the comment. Yes the texture of the wordings do surprise. I wonder if too much paint was applied on the early dials?

rare dial for late 6239/6241 and for 6262/4 with the " sloped A ".
colour is silver/lightblue :

does your dial have completely flat counters like the one shared by me ??

Yes the font on the light blue Daytona has the same shaped 'A' and the sub dials are indeed flat. Thanks for the info. )

indeed rare and completely underestimated ...
these dials with flat counters are rarer than Paul Newman ...
market is really crazy and unaware ....

first one shows the completely flat counter and the 2nd the SINGER punch with the " square S ".
