I have to admit I considered myself lucky when finding the "normal version" with this original army tag (and some more old, original paper work). I think I have never seen one of those anymore in wild life. Then, I have tried for ca. 5 years to get a Sternzeit Reguliert but assumed that I will never ever get one.
Now, I am very happy with the trio. I will now try to complete the extended family i.e. the Sinn Bund and the Leonidas Bund which should be fairly easy to find with some paitience.

...well, in fact they were around from the late 60ies for quite a long subsequent period. The 90ies date that you see on that lable is actually just confirming (on the back of the lable) that it went again to its regular service. And as usual on Heuers, you have individual case numbers but no "books" or archives at Heuer which would allow to accurately date the individual watches.
Wrist time: well, I have to admit that the "normal version" as well as the "3H" version have not gotten a lot of wrist time lately. But the "Sternzeit" will be my watch for the coming week. These Heuer Bunds wear particularly comfortable as they are large in diameter but small in thickness and weight.

These 3 like new watches are from the late 60ies !

Well, I would not call them NOS condition......
......if you go really close by, they show age, but that is the main beauty of collecting vintage.

....and yes, as I wrote in one of my earlier replies, I had an eye on the Sternzeit for - about - 5 years at least. Then it came. It is all correct one (not a given these days), it is an early one, the price was very ok given the condition and rarity, and - freak yes - it is a &%รง*")+?`! Sternzeit!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!. Very happy indeed. My watch of this week. It is by the way the exact Sternzeit that is on the site of Jeff Stein under "Bund" and under "Sternzeit".
