The concept is interesting.
And I think it works on this LE.
It reminds me of an artist's sketch of conceptual watch in a very old AP catalog.

I like this sapphire Hublot because it looks like it's actually wearable for everyday use
I wonder how it would look if Hublot added a faint touch of color to the hands.

It is certainly different one. Cool! Good looking, but somewhat "Swatch-like" looking. I might want to do something about the strap - but overall, good concept and execution. Good job, Hublot!

I really like this sapphire Hublot
While I'm not the biggest Hublot fan, this is something I appreciate
Some years ago Richard Mille made something similar with a tourbillon , RM charged an insane 1,6 million
They said it took them over 1000 hrs to make the case
Last year Moser also made a sapphire tourbillon and I believe is was also a million dollar watch
This Hublot does not have a tourbillon so it must be a bit cheaper
But when I was told they sell it for 57,000 euro......
Kudos to Hublot and moser and Mille owe us an explanation
It's unbelievable.
RM placed the same movement from the RM050 which was priced around $900,000-$1,000,000 into the RM056 and charged upwards of $1,500,000. So now Hublot comes along and produces a chronograph priced at $57,000 in a full sapphire case! If I owned an RM056 I would be LIVID at RM for charging $500,000 more for a process and material that is now clearly not worth that amount of money. But their prices have always been insanely high so I expect nothing else at this point I just hope that this is a wake up call.

and from trying on the watch during Geneva watch week, I can say it sure is a stand out piece from Hublot... at Basel it is going to be a blast. This one is only a proto... they assure me that the final version will look even better!

JCB has started playing tough
First a cheap tourbillon with TH, now a cheap sapphire case.
We know that in the luxury world nothing really worth the price tag,but with these moves i think JCB is changing the game's rules.
For the first time a rush towards lower prices, but with more complication and quality.
I knew this man was one step ahead, but i guess i was wrong....he is definitely a mile ahead
This is a logical step for Hublot
Unico has always been about a sexy production movement that has many details to please the eye. I am a huge fan of the Unico and I'm glad to see an equally sexy case that displays the movement in all its glory!
