Big Bang Unico or Meca 10 Black Magic?
I'm having a tough time deciding between purchasing either the Big Bang Unico Black Magic or the Meca 10 Black Magic. I've been on the fence for awhile and would like some feedback from other owners and collectors.
For me personally...
I own a Unico... but would love to own a Meca10! The Unico is a great movement, but the Meca is something new, the skeletonisation and moving of the balance wheel makes it an eye to behold.
If I had to chose between the 2 today, the Meca would win hands down.

I would go for the Meca 10 Black Magic, due to the marvellous caliber.
It shows Hublot technology pure and Hublot manufacture skills.
The Big Bang Unico, has the Unico caliber, that is the first inhouse caliber, a Hublot milestone.
Ceramic is a perfect material , but this will not help any further
If you had asked for the Big Bang Unico All Black... but that was not the question.
I am excited about the result.

Well...
... i own both but as Magic Gold watches. Both watches are very different, an automatic chronograph vs. a 10 days power reserve hand wound
If there only one of these two watches could stay in my collection i would choose the Meca 10. It is pure mechanics and the watch is still interesting after 3 month on my wrist.
So would go for the Meca 10.

but i would say both!
No, just decide as followed: one has date and chrono, the other has a gorgeous mouvement in wich you can drown.
In the end, eitherway will please as both are Hublot’s!

Decisions, decisions...
Thank you all for your advice and points of view. A few months ago I tried out the Meca 10 All Black and actually passed as I’m not a fan of the monotone all black look and like a little contrast on the dial. I was about to pull the trigger on the Unico Black Magic and then the sales associate mentioned there was now a Meca 10 Black Magic now which I wasn’t aware of.
Now my thought is to purchase the Meca 10 Black Magic as I believe it would be more likely to be retired earlier than a standard model like the Unico Black Magic. Depending on how much wrist time my current original Big Bang Black Magic gets compared to the new Meca 10 Black Magic I may end of selling my original Big Bang Back Magic to fund the Unico Black Magic purchase in the future.
Now my thought is to purchase the Meca 10 Black Magic as I believe it would be more likely to be retired earlier than a standard model like the Unico Black Magic.
